Matilda Asante a 19 year old high school graduate was murdered in the early hours of Monday and her remains was found around 7:30am in the compound of an adjoining home in the Ga West Municipality, with her legs tied, her head covered in a black polythene bag all wrapped in a bed sheet.Further Police inspection lead to findings that her neck was also twisted during the murder.
The police were able to trace Nathaniel to the murder because the sheet she was wrapped in matched the pillow cover of his missing bed sheet and the deceased had spent the previous night with him. This is as narrated by Crime Officer of the Mile 7 Police Station, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Mr Henry Agbeve.
